Enhancing Support for Foreign Enterprises to Achieve Win-Win Development through Open Cooperation

Chief Zeng Zanrong of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee visited several foreign enterprises in Qingdao on the afternoon of May 20. He stressed the need to thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping's important directives on high-level opening-up to achieve the continuous optimization of business environments so as to provide high-quality, efficient services to support foreign enterprises. This endeavor is aimed towards helping foreign businesses thrive in Qingdao and achieve mutual benefits through open cooperation.
LS Automotive Technologies (Qingdao), a wholly foreign-owned enterprise established in 1991, was among the companies visited. Zeng Zanrong toured the production workshop and had in-depth discussions with company leaders to understand their production, export, and market sales operations. He encouraged the company to deepen its roots in Qingdao and leverage its strengths to produce more high-tech products while increasing local supply chain integration to expand its market reach.
Qingdao NovelBeam Technology is a high-tech enterprise in the medical imaging equipment industry. Zeng Zanrong carefully examined the company's R&D framework, production, and product applications, noting the vast potential of the biomedicine and medical devices industry and expressed hope that the company would drive industrial innovation through technological advancements. He expressed support for them to continually increase R&D investment and refine their products to strengthen their brand and capture the leading edge in optoelectronic integrated products and services.
Norma China, a manufacturer primarily producing plastic piping systems for automobiles, was another stop on Zeng Zanrong's tour. He visited the production line and inquired about the company's manufacturing processes and market trends. At the Caterpillar Research & Development Center (China) branch in Qingdao, Zeng thoroughly explored the development and application of their engineering machinery products. He emphasized that foreign enterprises are crucial to Qingdao's high-quality development and encouraged these companies to remain confident in their growth and how the expansion of their operations in Qingdao and continued collaboration with the city would bring about mutual development. Zeng assured that the city of Qingdao and its administration will persist in creating a market-oriented, rule-of-law-based business environment for the purpose of international trade to enable foreign enterprises smooth and confident investment and operation, thereby fostering increasingly promising development prospects.
Standing Committee member and Secretary General of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee Chang Hongjun, along with Deputy Secretary of the Jimo District Party Committee and Chief of Jimo District Zhang Yuansheng, were present during the tour.
