Deep sea development
Breakthrough high-precision exploration and development technologies for deep-sea mineral resources such as rare earth elements, polymetallic nodules, cobalt rich ferromanganese crusts, and polymetallic sulfides, as well as deep-sea energy resources such as oil and gas and natural gas hydrates. Develop key equipment such as efficient and intelligent deep-sea exploration robots, high-performance green mining machines, and carbon dioxide underwater geological storage and monitoring. Develop deep-sea mineral resource mining prototypes such as closed mining of deep-sea sulfides, large-scale floating production storage and unloading devices for deep water, and semi submersible production platforms for deep water and ultra deep water oil and gas development. Focusing on the exploration and discovery of deep-sea organisms, systematic development, growth and metabolism, physiology and biochemistry, and strengthening basic research, we aim to explore the potential applications of deep-sea organisms in fields such as biomedicine and environmental protection.
